Ben and Alastair, from Country Teasers, to release a song for song cover of Pink Floyd’s, The Wall!

I know that I’ve been AWOL around these parts, but I also know that many of you who visit this page are big Teasers fans, hence this brief return. It will be a vinyl only release via In The Red Records, appx summertime. http://bit.ly/2mciZJZ

Newly posted live video of Country Teasers in Louisville

Having posted several other Country Teasers videos, I’m always surprised at how many views they end up receiving. It’s not like they are a particularly well known band, but those of us who love them, obviously cannot get enough.

Light In The Attic Records is reissuing the discography of experimental Post-Punk trio, This Heat!

It’s just two LPs, 1979’s eponymous debut and 1981’s, Deceit, alongside the EP, Health and Efficiency, that appeared between the two. All I can say is that it’s about time This Heat received an official US release.

Give Deceit a listen…

and follow it up with this outstanding complete performance from 1980…

We’ve Got A Fuzzbox And We’re Gonna Use It!!

Today would have been guitarist Jo Dunne’s 47th birthday, had she not tragically succumbed to cancer two years ago. I will fondly remember Dunne for her contribution to the first Fuzzbox (back when the used the full We’ve Got A Fuzzbox And We’re Gonna Use It, moniker) single, Rules and Regulations, which I purchased on 12″, with an etched b-side, when it was released. Loved it then, love it now. Oh yeah, watch the videos and dig on their fun, oh-so-80’s, UK street punk/wave fashion sense.

And here’s the single from their first LP…

Watch newly posted video of a complete Young Marble Giants set from 1980!

Black and white, one camera, great sound and insanely intimate, this footage captures all your Young Marble Giants faves. I’m as totally enamored now as I was upon first hearing Colossal Youth. No one does it like YMG.
