A mellow cut from Puerto Rico’s kings of Garage Rock. Definitely on some Velvet Underground, Sunday Morning, vibe. My favorite cut by them, actually in the Top 10 of that year, probably. A great live band, too. Caught them twice (neither time did they play Tu), once at Gonerfest in Memphis, where Jay Reatard, in full on, crazed, Reatards reunion mode, gave the bass player a snortful of coke on stage, which later when performing himself, and in the middle of raging on Vice Magazine, pulls said sizable baggy of blow out and says, “This is what you get for signing with Vice”.
Oh, and aside from the song, the video is a beautiful and creepy, NSFW, sex cult killer thing, kinda.
