Jason Bateman managed to parlay his, update on Eddie Haskell, role in Silver Spoons, into this short lived vehicle, playing a scam running, smart ass teen living with his widowed mom and older sister. I loved this show when it aired 1984-1985 for a scant 18 episodes, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it for the first time since then, as youtube has all the episodes online! This all but forgotten 80’s gem needs to be seen by more people. I thought it was bizarre that it took well over a decade for Bateman to really find his footing and become a go to guy for comedies, despite his exceptional teen skills displayed herein. Enjoy
